Graduate School reward scheme

The Graduate School will no longer be offering the reward scheme and no new reward cards will be issued.

Students who have partially completed reward cards may still complete their cards and claim their reward items, while stocks last.

The Graduate School Reward Scheme rewards postgraduates that attend Graduate School events, presentations or Researcher Development courses.

Ask a member of staff to initial and date the card each time you attend an event. Once your card is complete you can exchange it for one of the following rewards:

Memory stick
Hoodie
Travel mug

FAQs

How do I collect points?

Every time you attend a Graduate School event or training course, you can collect one point on your card. At the end of the session, either the course tutor or a member of Graduate School staff will sign the card for you. When you have eight points you can swap your card for one of the Graduate School goodies!

Which events are valid?

Any Graduate School or Graduate Centre event or training course (excluding coffee and cake events). Unfortunately, courses run by your own school/other providers don't count, but don't worry; there are plenty of Graduate School events for you to attend.

I have completed my card - how do I exchange it for rewards?

Bring the completed card to the Graduate School and swap it for one of the items on offer! At the moment, we have hoodies (plus a small charge), memory sticks and thermal mugs.

Terms and conditions

The Graduate School Reward Card is available to all postgraduates studying at the University of Nottingham.

All cards are issued by and remain the property of the Graduate School
To earn points, the card holder must present their Reward Card to staff at the end of an event/training course. Points will only be added on the day of the course and cannot be added at a later date
Points are awarded every time the card holder attends a Graduate School training course, Graduate School event or Graduate Centre event. (This does not include coffee and cake events)
The card holder will receive points every time they attend a course, and these points are currently calculated at the rate of one point for every event/course attended
Half day courses will also be given one point
Card members can only redeem the card once all eight points have been collected
To redeem points, the card holder must bring the card in to the Graduate School and hand over the card in exchange for a reward item
Reward points can be used as part payment towards a Graduate School hoodie (for a cost of £5, normally £10) or exchanged for any of the other items
The points have no cash redemption value and cannot be exchanged, sold or transferred to another card member's account. No change or credit will be given for any overpayment using points
If the reward card is lost, stolen or damaged, the card holder should notify the Graduate School immediately, either by coming in to the Graduate School or by emailing graduate-school@nottingham.ac.uk so that a replacement card can be arranged

The Graduate School reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions, or suspend or terminate the Graduate School Reward Card Scheme at any time. If the Reward Card Scheme is terminated (for whatever reason) the card holder's rights to earn or redeem points are lost. The Graduate School will give the card holder as much notice as it reasonably can. Earning or redeeming points will constitute acceptance of any amended terms and conditions
